Phantom Lady

Bulletman

The female Blue Bulleteer was a hastily renamed and rejigged version of the Phantom Lady, a result of publishers AC believing that the Phantom Lady's copyright had lapsed and she was now in the public domain, then being threatened with legal action by DC if they used the name again. The character was also retooled as Nightveil in AC's Fem Force title. The male Blue Bulleteer was a retooled version of Bulletman (also now owned by DC) and the second story in this issue is a re-edited reprint of a Golden Age Bulletman story.
