Robert "Bob" Kanigher (1915-2002) was a writer and editor for DC Comics. Robert is most widely recognized for his contributions to the war comics genre, specifically the character of Sgt. Rock and for his 22 year run on Wonder Woman.

- A little known anecdote about Kanigher indicates that he was very creative and versatile as a writer, managing to script stories in few hours. Such is the case of the story titled "Drop an Inch", first published in G.I. Combat #62.
