Bobby Gazzo was a Metropolis based crime lord, who's grip on the city's underworld rivaled that of Carmine Falcone. Gazzo was the head of the Gazzo crime family, one of the Mafia's Five Families. Gazzo was a close friend and ally of Falcone, and was godfather to Falcone's daughter Sofia. At some point, the Gazzo crime family was at odds with the Maroni family, resulting in the killing of two Gazzo crime family members. Following the murder of Milos Grapa Gazzo served as the consigliere to Falcone's crime family. After Carmine Falcone's death at the hands of the rival Two-Face, Gazzo was present at Falcone's funeral. During the Columbus Day massacure, Bobby Gazzo was shot to death in his hotel room by The Joker.
