Bonita was a member of the Posse, a group of powered outcasts who used their powers to help "gifted" people to hide from the law and the underworld notably La Dama.
History
She was romantically involved with Posse member Damper and became pregnant of his child.
When Probe was mentally attacked by Jaime Reyes she was one of the Posse members that hunted him down for some payback. Known that magical powers could be unpredictable at times she used her powers on Jaime only to have her arm broken as Jaime's Scarab forced him to power up and escaped from sight. Jaime wasn't seen for a whole year thereafter.
One Year Later
She gave birth to a daughter which she named Alina. When the Posse had Jaime at their base Alina was captured by the Bottom Feeder Bonita blamed the one that broke her arm before and in her rage overloaded the Posse with unwanted emotions. Jaime managed to save her daughter by discovering he could track DNA signatures. After that a small group of the Posse used this new power to locate and rescue Probe.
Bonita stayed behind.

Bonita's powers are magical in nature. Little is known about them but she seems to be able to get people to tell the truth.
