HistoryEdit

Lyrl Dox aka Brainiac 3 is the genius son of Brainiac 2 (Vril Dox II) and Stealth. They worked for the Intergalactic police force known as L.E.G.I.O.N. based on the planet Cairn

Stealth unstable biology caused her to go into heat and chose Vril Dox II as he mate. Stealth attacked raped and killed Vril Dox, but from that one pairing Stealth became pregnant. Luckily the Durlan found Vril body and cloned it and transferred his brainwaves restoring Vril Dox back to life.

Stealth narrowly avoided being devoured before going into labor. This event brought out the truly strange nature of the Gryxian race. During the birth, her body transformed into her native, non-humanoid form, and in feverish state, she heard the voice of the spirits of her people "the male is a necessary evil. He will dictate the form." Thus, her son was born a Coluan. Afterwards, she decides to put the baby in protective care, and return to the L.E.G.I.O.N.

As Lyrl Dox grew his father did not notice that his son mind was advanced beyond his years. When it did come to his attention he blindly Lyrl to a senior position in the L.E.G.I.O.N. Lyrl began plotting to take over his organization. Lyrl used his father's "enhanced charisma program" and took control of teams operatives one by one. It didn't take long for Vril Dox II to figure what Lyrl was doing, and he attempted to strip him of authority.

Vril was to late and Lyrl transmitted his charisma program to all of the tweam personnel. Vril and a few other members escape and form a group called the R.E.B.E.L.S.. Lyrl informed everyone that his father was killed.

The R.E.B.E.L.S. are able to evade the L.E.G.I.O.N. at every turn. Whilst on the run the clients begins to complain about poor service, so Lyrl Dox invited eighty seven world leaders to mourn his fathers death. During the service he is able to brainwash them all.

Whilst on the run his father encounters then demon known as Neron. Vril Dox II made a deal with this devil, to destroy the Ice Man, and to regain control of the L.E.G.I.O.N. from his son. In exchange, Vril Dox II agreed to attach his debt to his family line whch would last 1000 years.

Neron gibes him the advice; "Lyrl Dox cannot be defeated... until you remember whose son he is." to overcome the mind control he must induce pain, so when they returned to Cairn he shoots himself and Stealth preventing any effects of the charisma device. Vril Dox II administered a drug erasing most of his advanced intelligence.

Lyrl Dox resurfaces again in a jungle now aged to a teenager, he is hunted down on the planet Voorl. It is revealed that his mother Stealth died defending him from rogue L.E.G.I.O.N robots.

Lyrl Dox is resentful toward his father for leaving them in the jungle of planet Voorl to return to serving as the leader of L.E.G.I.O.N when he's found, and originally thinks that his father is behind the murder of his mother.

When Starro's forces, were in control of L.E.G.I.O.N they were behind the murder of Lyrl Dox's mother. Vril Dox II tells his team that L.E.G.I.O.N. killed Stealth while originally trying to get to Lyrl Dox.

• Genius-Level Intellect: Lyrl Dox, like all members of the Brainiac family, possesses a superior intellect, on the order of a 12th-level intellect. (It has been said that the entire population of Earth is no greater than a level 8)^[1]
