Synopsis for "Disco of Death"

Barry and Iris Allen are invited to Gotham City by Bruce Wayne and they go out on a double date to a posh disco where they spend a unique evening. However, they notice that some people are disguised as part of the entertainment, but one of them seems more than just a disguised person.

Later, Batman and Flash go to investigate the mysterious appearance and sudden disappearance of the man dressed as the Phantom of the Opera and they learn that the man is in fact the spirit of a person who is seeking revenge of some kind by taking the souls of young girls.

Batman believes everything is part of a criminal plot of the Gotham Organized Crime, but Flash decides to use the Cosmic Treadmill to go to the past and investigate the background of any possible suspect. Batman's quest proves to be fruitless, but Flash finds out that during the 1930s, a man lost his wife during a dancing marathon and he blamed the disco for her death.

Returning to the present, Flash informs Batman about the truth of the events and they work together to free the spirit of the tormented man with help from Iris, who is disguised as the spirit's former wife. The plan is a success and after the spirit goes back to the spirit world, the souls of the young lady victims return to their comatose bodies at the Gotham General Hospital.

The next night, Bruce Wayne and the Allens go on a double date again, but this time the choose a place with less excitement.
