Synopsis for "Terrorists of the Heart!"

Batman finds himself tracking down members of the terrorist group called Black Heart, who are terrorizing Gotham City. Meanwhile, Karate Kid returns from the future looking for his former girlfriend, Iris Jacobs. When the police finds the Black Heart's hideout, the criminals realize that they have been betrayed and the only member who has been captured by the police is Katy. For this reason, their newest member, Pulsar breaks Katy out of prison to eliminate her, but he is stopped by Batman and Katy escapes until she is aided by an unaware Iris.

When Karate Kid learns about Pulsar's attacks on the Gotham City Jail and Batman, he joins the Caped Crusader to help him against his former enemy, who was supposed to turn straight. Batman was easily defeated by Pulsar and moments later, Karate Kid and him start following the trail of the fugitive Katy. The heroes realize that he woman has gone to Iris Jacobs, who is unaware of the danger and they go to her rescue.

Meanwhile, the Black Heart and their leader go to Iris' place to eliminate Katy. At that same moment, the heroes arrive at the place and a confrontation starts. While Batman deals with the Black Hearts in Iris' apartment, Karate Kid and Pulsar take the battle outside. Batman can easily defeat the terrorists, but Karate Kid is having some troubles until he asks Pulsar about his sudden return to crime. The man explains that while he was in prison, the mob killed his family and in revenge, he joined the Black Hearts. Knowing of his imminent defeat, the leader of the Black Hearts activates a detonator on Pulsar's costume and the man is blown to pieces. The murder of Pulsar didn't make Travers any good as he was still captured by Batman and Karate Kid. Meanwhile, Iris has learned the truth of the situation and she captures Katy.

When the police take the criminals away, Iris assumes that Val has returned to stay with her, but when he informs her that he has actually returned to invite her to his wedding, she is left heart-broken, with only Batman to give her small comfort as Karate Kid returns to the future, alone.
