Synopsis for Batman and The Spectre: "The Body-Napping of Jim Corrigan!"

During a train trip, the vehicle is bound to fall into the abyss due to a broken bridge. Jim Corrigan releases the Spectre to prevent the accident, but in the short time the Spectre is out of Jim's body, he is attacked and kidnapped by a woman named Kalindra. When Spectre is unable to find Corrigan anywhere on the train, he goes to Gotham City to get assistance from the best detective he knows: Batman.

Spectre explains the situation to Batman and using his powers, the ghost allows Batman to explore the crime scene. Using his detective skills, Batman finds enough clues about Corrigan's abduction and with this information, the heroes are able to track down the kidnappers. Elsewhere, the woman named Kalindra is ready to perform a magic spell that will allow her former lover to possess the body of Corrigan. Kalindra was once victim of the attack of a powerful wizard, who vanished her lover to the Astral Plane and condemned him to haunt her for her entire life; and the wizard gave Kalindra eternal life, to extend her torment.

FInally, after centuries of practicing the occult, Kalindra has found Corrigan's suitable body and she allows her lover to take possession of the body and return to the real world. It is then that Spectre and Batman find them and a confrontation ensue. Batman tries to deal with the powerful Kalindra, while Spectre and the usurper take the fight to the Astral Plane. Spectre makes his victory quick and he then helps Batman by releasing Kalindra of her spell, ending her life.
