History
Bruce Wayne came from a family who was murdered by their servants. Due to this he lost his family's fortune. Bruce decided to enter law enforcement, eventually becoming a detective in the corrupt Gotham City Police Department, being one of the few honest cops. His last case was to track down and capture Batgirl and Robin. He was framed for the murder of Selina Kyle by Bianca Steeplechase and became a fugitive. After Dick Grayson's death, Bruce joined Batgirl as Batman and attacked the mob operations in Gotham. After the death of Bianca Steeplechase, he was appointed as Police Commissioner succeeding James Gordon, retiring the Batman role until needed again.
