Some time after this, Superman revealed to the world that Bruce Wayne was in fact Batman and Wayne had all Wayne Enterprise's assets frozen.

After the death of Green Arrow and Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Aquaman joining Superman, Batman needed replacements to help in his plan to overthrow Superman. He transported duplicates from a parallel dimension to help unlock his Kryptonite weapon in the Batcave. After getting the weapon, Batman and the other went to Stryker's Island to break out the other Batman. A large battle ensued. Batman was forced to fight his own son, Damien Wayne who Green Arrow thought was Dick Grayson. After defeating Nightwing and Catwoman, they made it to the other Batman's cell and transported him to the Batcave.

At the Batcave, after a fight between the two batmen, they decided to bring over the other Superman to help fight the evil one. When they brought him over their plan was put into action. The battle for this world was on. After capturing Superman, Batman and Superman of the other dimension discussed what would happen if that Superman were to do the same thing with Batman saying he would be there to stop him.

Following the battle to liberate Earth, Batman learned that Luthor had bequeathed his massive fortune to Bruce Wayne. He now had the means to rebuild Gotham and Metropolis. The city's residents, inspired by their hero's efforts, adopted the slogan, 'We Are Batman'.

They contributed countless hours to the communities' renovation and crime prevention. The Batman of old would have stubbornly assumed these tasks alone; the post One-Earth Batman, having been rewarded for his trust in others, enjoyed his city's renewal and his role as its benefactor.

Injustice 2

Batman Injustice 2 Epilogue

"Brainiac's attack left the world devastated. Thousands dead, many more thousands homeless. When President Kane asked that I head up the emergency response , I couldn't refuse. The job's demands required that I leave the Justice League in Barry's and Hal's hands. Together they're molding the younger heroes into a force for good unlike any Earth has ever seen.

But I'm only semi-retired. Behind the scenes, I've been preparing for Superman's return. Kal swore he'd escape from the Phantom Zone. I'd be foolish not to take him at his word."
