Notes

  • Lightning King:
    • Bulletgirl can snap a handgun in half with her dainty, gloved hands.
    • The art in this story is tentatively identified by GCD as being by the "Jack Binder Shop," possibly Ed Dobrotka.
  • Octopus:
    • Jim Barr gets head-konked unconscious, with a handgun. The same tactic proves useless against Bulletman, because of his helmet. Last issue, it did prove effective against Bulletgirl, despite the helmet. Bulletman is confusing.
    • Twice in this story, Jim Barr pulls a helmet out of nowhere, slaps it on, and is instantly transformed into fully-costumed Bulletman. Susan Kent also does it once.
    • This villain looks very familiar.
    • The art in this story is tentatively identified by GCD as being by Don Rico.
  • Murdered Millionaire:
    • This is not the Hunchback's second appearance, but a new and unrelated "Hunchback," who is secretly the seemingly-cowardly accountant Miller, with a fake hump. The previous Hunchback was secretly the insane ex-actor Dennis Mills, with a genuine hunch.
  • First issue for Private Ward by Bill Ward
