Synopsis for "Scribbly"

Clover Cooley dashes into the living room, demanding to use the TV despite it being the bottom of the ninth with a tied score! She changes the TV to show that Scribbly is on a quiz show, much to Mr. Cooley’s dismay. When she walks off to check the doorbell, he changes it back, only for him to find that it’s Mr. and Mrs. Jibbet coming over to watch the quiz show with her. This happens again on repeat when she goes to check the door to find Littul Snoony, Sisty, Dizzy and the Hunkel Cousins are also also there to watch the quiz show and her father insists that there’s two outs and bases are loaded! Clover points out there’s a 9:1 vote against it, so they turn it back to find that Scribbly is already done, but has seemingly won a “fabulous prize,” which Sisty is excited about. Snoony offers it could be a car and Clover dreams it’s a yacht. Snoony returns it could be a small European country, which Mr. Jibbet claims is definitely the kind of thing they give away on quiz shows. This leads to her thinking Scribbly is now King of a small European nation and they all prepare to bow when he enters, finding that his “fabulous” prize is a date with the sponsor’s daughter, a bulky gap-toothed girl, making everyone fall over.
