Synopsis for "Life After the Dead"

Nathaniel has been frequenting Sally's Mellow Yellows. After offering to her a peace medallion signed by Timothy Leary, Nathaniel request a job to look after the store in which Sally happily agrees.

The moment is suddenly interrupted by a disheveled man, who reveals to be Sally's ex-husband named Mitch Blake, and is desperate for money. Shortly after, two men enters the store and explains to Nathaniel and Sally that Mitch owes them $600 after he is unable to pay for the drugs he had bought from their employer. Since Mitch has claim that Sally has the money, the thugs are here to make that request. However, Nathaniel shortly deal with the thugs and throws them out of the store. Sally is very disappointed with Mitch and is unwilling to help him even though his life is in danger, as she believes that Mitch will only use her money for his next high.

Nathaniel has a jog with Peggy and Goslin. His daughter discuss about her father's relationship with Sally and points out that he is at least ten years younger than her. Nathaniel is quick to deny that he is dating with Sally (at least not yet in his opinion) and is only working for her.

Nathaniel walks Sally to her home while learning more about her past relationship with Mitch. But after seeing Sally home, they discover Mitch lying unconscious on the floor - he have been OD'd from heroin and broke in as he has no other place to go. Nathaniel quickly calls an ambulance and Mitch is soon stabilized. But the paramedics are not optimistic for Mitch's chances. Sally is deeply regretful for rejecting Mitch's help and goes to look after him at the hospital while Nathaniel elect to look after Sally's home.

That night, the drug dealers attempt to break into Sally's home and steal her valuables. But they are caught in the act by Captain Atom, who then takes them up into the sky and interrogate them for information on their connection. The thugs are quick to spill on their connection, a dealer named Ramone. Captain Atom dispose the thugs in a dumpster and proceed to confront Ramone, who in turn explains about an appointment with his boss. Nathaniel then pose as Ramone and meet with the drug dealers. The dealers have deemed Ramone a liability for selling information and guns down "Ramone". Captain Atom swiftly deal with the dealers and also learning more about their operations.

Nathaniel discreetly destroy a drug shipment and follow its source to a poppy plantation on a island. He then completely laid waste to the poppy field, ensuring the heroin from ever coming into America.

Nathaniel arrives to the hospital, where Mitchell has succumbed to his overdose. Sally tearfully place Nathaniel's peace medallion into Mitch's hands.
