Synopsis for "The Earth Dreamer"

Billy Batson interviews Professor Plato Q. Thinkler who shows him a telescope that sees beyond the third dimension, and through which Thinkler has theorized that the universe they know is only the dream of a being in another dimension. Everything starts to shake and Thinkler interprets this as the dreamer beginning to wake, prompting Billy to change to Captain Marvel, who with advice from Thinkler, concentrates hard enough to transfer himself to the dreamer's world. There Captain Marvel discovers the dreamer is a giant farmer, who he knocks out and camouflages to keep him from waking for several hours, which will give Earth thousands of years of continuation in relative time. Returning to report his success to Thinkler, Marvel learns that the scientist has reexamined his theory, and now believes the world with the sleeping giant is actually a product of Thinkler's own dreaming. Confused and frustrated by the whole bizarre ordeal, Marvel gives up and goes home.
