Steve Trevor was a Major in the US Army, and had a long term romance with Wonder Woman, initially without realizing that she was actually his colleague Diana Prince. Trevor was killed by one of Diana's old foes soon after Diana had chosen to give up her powers and Wonder Woman identity in order to be with him, but he was secretly resurrected some years later by the goddess Aphrodite, who gave him a new identity as 'Steve Howard' (this Trevor was eventually revealed to be the god Eros inhabiting Trevor's body). Later killed again, he was replaced once more by a version of himself from another dimension, but the original Trevor was eventually restored and merged with his counterpart. Steve and Diana eventually married with the blessing of Diana's mother Queen Hippolyta shortly before both of them were erased from existence by the Crisis on Infinite Earths.

Steve Trevor was an expert in military strategy and was skilled in hand-to-hand combat.

Steve Trevor possessed the strength level of a man his age, size and weight who engaged in moderate, regular exercise.

NotesEdit

This version of Steven Trevor (Earth-One), including all history and corresponding appearances, was erased from existence following the collapse of the Multiverse in the 1985-86 Crisis on Infinite Earths limited series and is now considered apocryphal.
On occasion, Steve Trevor became the super powered Captain Wonder.
