History

Her father was Fighting Yank I. When he was killed in battle, he tried to communicate with her from the realm of the dead. He was unable to be heard, only seen, until she took his tri-cornered hat and put it on. Donning his magical cloak, she became Fighting Yank II, evnetually rechristening herself Fighting Spirit.
