Cartoon Network Starring was the second anthology comic by DC Comics based on the cartoons featured on Cartoon Network. Unlike its predecessor, Cartoon Network Presents, it focused entirely on stories based on the studio's original series, the Cartoon Cartoons, as well as Space Ghost Coast to Coast, but did not feature any Hanna-Barbera properties. Further differing from the preceding title, each issue featured one show per issue. Of particular note, The Powerpuff Girls (which later got its own comic book) and Johnny Bravo made their comic book debuts in issues of Cartoon Network Starring.
After eighteen issues, Cartoon Network Starring was replaced by Cartoon Cartoons.
