Divine Empowerment pertains to individuals who receive certain powers, abilities or gifts from an extra-dimensional source. It is a broad and unclearly defined term and does not necessarily denote a particular faith or belief structure. In most cases, such gifts are bestowed by deific entities such as Gods, Goddesses or extraterrestrial cosmic beings. Some may even receive Divine Endowment from evil entities such as demons.
