What all should be included in a character's category?[]
Yeah, the basic ones are a no-brainer, but should we also include all of a character's related articles; ala, Appearances, Quotes, etc? There's also other items such as locations and so forth. Should articles like Coast City be included in the Green Lantern category? --Brian Kurtz 17:36, 17 December 2008 (UTC)
It's still coalescing in my mind (one of the reasons for holding back on creating the categories), but what I've come up with so far is:
- Articles
- The Disambig page (sorted to appear first)
- Characters to have used the codename (current holder(s) sorted by *)
- Accessories (Items, Vehicles, etc., sorted by general name; ie, Cave instead of Batcave)
- Publication History
- Categories
- Appearances
- Images
- Quotes
- Storylines
- Supporting Cast
- Titles
- Villains
- XXXXX Family Members
- Other media categories (TV Series, Movies, etc.)
For locations, well, that's still coming together. Some I've tried putting into Supporting Cast, others directly in the character's category. I think it's important to include them because so many are, in essence, another character in the heroes story, I'm just not sure which is the best way at this point.
And as I've said, a lot of this is still coming together in my mind so a lot of the existing categories are a mish-mash of different styles at the moment. And I'll probably want to put together a template for the category page, too. The Paradox 18:05, 17 December 2008 (UTC)
