I assume that this article is here for a very good purpose, I'm just curious as to what it is. Especially as there's another Gorilla Comix, a frequenting theme/character in Alan Moore's Promethea by ABC.

This exists as a side-effect of the "OriginalPublisher = " field in the Character Template. That field automatically categorizes characters into as "Whatever-Publisher Characters" cat. To keep the train of categories uninterrupted, that means creating a category for the publishing company. Since there isn't a lot to say about most of them, I've just been using the category page itself in lieu of an article about the company. Since this happens every time DC aquires another property, you'll probably see a few more pop up. The Paradox 00:47, 23 September 2008 (UTC)

Oh, for show. I used to make a lot of alternate company pages, using the Infobox Company. Not all of them have been proven useful yet, but I was pleasantly surprised with the acquisition of the Archie heroes. And I imagine when we bulk up our staff page articles we'll have a lot more uses for them.

I think this amount of content could probably just have its own article. For example, in the personal histories of any of these creators, it would be weird to have to link them to being affiliated with a Category.
