HistoryEdit

When Rookie cop Chuck Lane discovered that he was descended from a line of medieval court jesters, it inspired him to dress as a fool and fight crime incognito as the Jester. He was briefly a member of the All-Star Squadron in 1942 before relocating to Earth-X in order to help liberate that world from the Nazis as one of Uncle Sam's Freedom Fighters. His final fate is unrecorded.

Chuck Lane has no known connection to Quality Comics' earlier Jester, Robert Mason, an ally of Madame Fatal.
