Charles Paris (b. September 19, 1911 – d.March 25, 1994) was a comic book artist.

Professional History

Charles Paris was an artist and letterer for DC Comics. He started working in 1942 on the title Detective Comics as an inker and letterer on the Crimson Avenger stories. Shortly after, he started working on the Batman stories and after a while he started working on titles like Batman, Action Comics, World's Finest and Metamorpho. He usually worked along nototious artists such as Bob Kane, Jerry Robinson and Dick Sprang. During his entire career, he worked for DC Comics exclusively until his retirement, by the late 70's.

Personal History

Paris was born in 1911, and moved to New York in 1934.

He died in 1994, in Arizona at the age of 82.
