Chuck Dixon (b. April 14, 1954) is a writer.

Professional History

Chuck Dixon is an American comic book writer. He is recognized as one of the most prolific writers working in comic books. He is, along with Graham Nolan, the creator of Bane and won the 1993′s Wizard Fan Award for best new character. He also created, along with Jordan B. Gorfinkel, the Birds of Prey.

He wrote stories for Detective Comics from 1992 to 1999, going through some of the major Batman story arcs such as Knightfall, Contagion, Legacy, Cataclysm, Aftershock and Road to No Man's Land.

He is currently working on novels of his own creation and publishing G.I. JOE stories for IDW Publishing.
