Synopsis for "Book Four: Death"

On Earth, the doomsday device counts down to zero, but does not detonate. Batman and Forager fight the robot and the Apokoliptian soldier the Anti-Life aspect has assumed control over. Back in the Anti-Life's universe, Darkseid and Demon do battle with the Anti-Life Entity. Just as Darkseid and Demon are about to be killed by the entity, Dr. Fate, Highfather and Orion appear. Together, the five of them hold their own against the entity for a short while before Dr. Fate transports them out, stranding the entity in its own realm. Batman and Forager defeat the Anti-Life aspect on Earth, at the cost of Forager's life.
