Synopsis for "Bedlam Below!"

Deadshot, clearly despite orders to bring them in alive, is blatantly trying to murder Trickster and Pied Piper. Although he corners them in a field, they are able to trip him with their handcuffs, and they escape.

Jimmy Olsen has been taken prisoner on Apokolips, and one Overslaver about to kill him is destroyed by an Omega Beam. Another tells him to rejoice, for Darkseid has "Marked" him.

Eclipso offers Mary Marvel up to Darkseid as a servant.

At Karate Kid's request, Firestorm blows a hole in the ground in Blüdhaven, and to his surprise finds a high-tech bunker. The Atomic Knights, viewing Karate Kid and his crew as a security risk in Blüdhaven, attempt to remove them. After a brief fight, Firestorm knocks them out and they continue into the bunker. After breaking through a "state of the art and beyond" security door, they find Desaad torturing Professor Martin Stein. When he attacks him, Desaad tricks Jason Rusch, and gains control of his powers, becoming the dominant mind in the Firestorm entity.
