Synopsis for "Wetworks: Prelude"

Colonel Buller apprises his intelligence liaisons of the situation in Longforth, where twenty-seven male bodies were discovered, all completely drained of blood. Buller then begins recounting his encounter with Colonel Jackson Dane.

Some time earlier, Buller arrives at Dane's location, and sets up military forces around the perimeter. He requests aid from Dane, due to the later's previous experience with the Night Tribes. Buller offers to reinstate his rank and seniority, and end the investigation into his activities. Dane insists that he would need to select his own team, including Persephone (Red) and Mother One, who will need to be repaired and rebooted.

Seeking to test Dane, Buller signals his men to fire an explosive shell at Dane, which he telekinetically freezes it in place, and redirects towards the soldiers. Buller is injured by the explosion, and later expresses his concern at the prospect of accepting Dane's terms.

Synopsis for "Sleeper Season Two: Prelude"

Marc Slayton meets John Lynch, who after previously dispose two of Tao's agents that were following him, at a cemetery. Slayton discuss his serious concerns to Lynch about Holden Carver's infiltration in Tao's organization and most especially of which side he is on, which Marc fear that he is "going native" to Tao's side, such as his involvement in destabilizing the American government to the Authority. However, the real reason Slayton came to see Lynch is to give him his badge back and also wants to know why he is reinstated to work in Carver's case.

Lynch explains to him that the reason is because he is the only one who can get Holden Carver back to their side. Though, Marc points out that Carver believe that Lynch betrays him and gives the possibility that he will kill his boss. But, Lynch will take the chances and states that he has something that Holden wants. Marc guess that it is Holden's normal life, and elaborate that there is no life for Holden to go back to. Lynch consent but it is not what he is implying. Marc then wants to know what he means, which Lynch enigmatically states "if I told you that, Slayton, then you wouldn't need me, would you?"

After this Slayton departs in his car. As he drives away, Lynch goes to Tao's deceased agents' car and open its trunk revealing a tied up and gagged Triple X-Ray. Lynch un-gagged him and demands him to know how he can find Holden Carver.
