Kidnapped by the malevolent Monarch, Starwoman was one of many heroes forced to compete in his Arena for the right to serve in his army. Facing off against an intellegent ape and a feral Forerunner, Starwoman won by default when her Star Rod accidentally burned off the Forerunner's head.
