Creig Flessel (b. February 2, 1912 – d.July 17, 2008) was a writer.

Professional History

Flessel started working for National Allied Publications in 1936 on the title More Fun Comics, and later, he worked on several other titles, including New Adventure Comics, Detective Comics, All-Star Comics, Adventure Comics, Superboy, House of Mystery and many more.

Personal History

Flessel was born in Huntington, Long Island, New York and he was the minor of three siblings. Flessel graduated high school in 1930 and then attended Grand Central Art School, at Grand Central Terminal in Manhattan. Flessel married a woman named Marie, and in 2000 they moved from the East Coast to Mill Valley, California. They had a son and a daughter.

On July 17, 2008, Flessel suffered a stroke and died shortly afterward, at his home.
