History

Crest Hill is an upper-class suburb located in Bristol Township, north of Gotham City. Access to Gotham City is provided by way of the R. Kane Memorial Bridge, or the Gotham County underwater railroad tunnels. The foundation of the village dates back to the Revolutionary War, when patriot Darius Wayne constructed the family estate commonly known as Wayne Manor. For over a century following Darius' death, the property remained largely ignored until Darius' descendents Charles Arvin Wayne and his sons arrived from Boston to settle down in Crest Hill. They restored the manor to its former glory and it has remained in the family ever since. The manor is currently occupied by Bruce Wayne, the last living heir to the Wayne family fortune. Other notable residents of the Crest Hill neighborhood include J. Devlin Davenport, a millionaire socialite, as well as the late Jack Drake and his widow, Dana Winters Drake. Many of Crest Hill's residents abandoned the community after the No Man's Land Declaration, but have since returned following Lex Luthor's multi-billion dollar restoration project.

Notes

  • Although it is commonly believed that Wayne Manor is located in Gotham City, it is actually situated some fifteen miles outside of the city borders.
