History

Prior to Crisis on Infinite Earths, a crisis referred to when characters from one universe met up with characters from another universe. Most notably was the often annual team-ups between the Justice League of America and the Justice Society of America. These crises are more commonly referred to as the Crisis on Multiple Earths, or simply a Pre-Crisis Multiverse Crossover.
