Synopsis for "The Paralyzed Planet Peril!"
Superman has been captured and brought to the Anti-Matter universe by the Weaponers of Qward who are attempting to stage yet another invasion of the Earth. However, the Man of Steel soon revives after being felled by Q-Rays on Earth, and easily rounds up the Weaponers that are present. Superman grabs their leader, a Weaponer named Kiman and attempts to force him to surrender however Superman is struck from behind by a thunder bolt treated with Q-Rays, knocking out Superman once again.
Superman is placed on a special crystal which the Weaponers intend to use to power a doorway to open a portal large enough for an invasion force of Weaponers can come to Earth and colonize it. Kiman explains to Superman that because he interfered and prevented them from collecting Green Lantern's Power Ring and Star Sapphire's Opal, they are using him as the conduit to channel Q-Energy through the crystal to open the portal. Using two lenses placed in orbit around the planet Qward, the Q-Energy is filtered through Superman and the crystal not only opening a portal to Earth, but immobilizing every living being on the planet.
As the first group of Qwardian colonizers arrives on Earth, they begin building their first settlement when they are suddenly attacked by the Red Tornado, who's android nature has made him immune to the effects of their device. Cornering Kiman, the android demands that he release his hold on the Earth, however the Qwardian refuses and opens a portal to bring Weaponer's to Earth. The Red Tornado fights them off and chases Kiman back through the portal. There, the Tornado is caught in a Q-Ray field and immobilized. Superman however tells him to break free and the Red Tornado deduces that vibrating at super speed allows him to break free.
Flying into space above the planet Qward, the Red Tornado figures the best way to free Superman is to overload the system the Qwardians have made to open their portal. Moving both of the Q-Ray lenses to overlap each other, twice as much power is funneled through the network destroying the crystal and freeing Superman before the Q-Ray can seriously harm him. With both heroes free, they easily defeat the Weaponers still around. With the fight over and a colony of Qwardians now trapped on Earth, Superman comes up with a solution to the problem.
Sometime later, Clark Kent is reports for WGBS news in a place called New Qward. He explains to his viewing audience that Superman had donated previously unusable land in the Australian outback as a colony for the displaced Qwardians to set up their own society. Watching this from his monitors on Qward, Kiman notes that the Qwardians on Earth have some how been effected by being in a positive matter universe and have given up their evil ways and that from now on all invasion attempts on Earth are to be avoided. While on the Justice League satellite, Red Tornado also watches the news report while on monitor duty, he spends his time recording a mission log of his adventure with Superman, explaining that Superman had used super-hypnosis to purge any criminal tendencies from the Qwardians stranded on Earth and hopes that they can get a fresh start on this new world.
