The purpose of this page is to keep a running list of articles that may be considered complete. If anyone feels that an article successfully meets the following requirements, please feel free to nominate it for inclusion. Another editor will check it against the criteria, make any adjustments that may be necessary, and award a Gold Star.

To nominate an article for a Gold Star, simply place {{QA Nom}} at the bottom of the page. It will automatically be categorized where another editor will review it. All editors are invited to review articles nominated by other editors. (The goal is to have at least two different editors assessing each article.)

Comic Issues

  • Comic issue article is created using the current comic template.
  • Issue includes full creator credits for all stories in the issue (some fields may be left blank if the creator is unknown).
  • A high quality cover scan of the issue
  • Variant cover scans under the "Image2" field (if applicable)
  • A synopsis covering the key points of each story in the issue (size may vary)
  • Complete list of characters, locations and items seen in the issue
  • Reprint information under the Notes section (if applicable)
  • Storyline navigation template (if applicable)
  • Quote
  • Proper links and wikification; removal of obsolete Cast Lists
    • Wikification should point to an article, not a disambig page.
  • Inclusion in the timeline (search by year of publication)
  • Any images, including the cover, should have Image Template information filled out, including artistic talent.


Once the article has been double-checked, {{Gold Star Issue}} can be placed on the page. This will automatically categorize it into Category:Gold Star Issues.
