History
The Dark is a member of Expediters, Inc., which was sent to Manchester, Alabama to kidnap or assassinate an inventor named Gamal. The Dark enveloped Max Mercury in a telepathic cloud of darkness. Gamal used a 3-dimensional duplicating machine to create seven clones of Impulse, and the multiple, chaotic minds of the teen speedster overwhelmed The Dark, causing him to lose control of his powers and release Max Mercury.
