Synopsis for "Eve of Destruction, Part Two: The Weapon"
The Darkstars fight the fugitive Merayn Dethalis and Flash. The combatants get separated, and Mo and Carla realize that Merayn is not the threat they initially thought and that the package she's carrying is not a weapon. However, before she can give any explanation, The Combine interferes in the chaos, planning to steal the supposed weapon. The Darkstars and the Flash join forces to fight The Combine, and Wally's house gets destroyed. Merayn notices that the Combine's weapons are sound-based, meaning they gather ambient sound waves and transform them into energy. Using that information to their favor, Flash causes a sonic boom that overloads their weaponry.
However, Merayn's package starts to glow. Merayn explains that she was carrying a baby universe in that bag: a pre-Big Bang universe that became unstable after Flash's sonic boom, threatening to engulf the old universe with its expansion.
