Synopsis for "Urban Renewal, Part One: Strings"
Deadshot, Killer Frost, Firebug II and the Closer are on a rooftop, preparing for a job. Deadshot takes a shot at someone in the building opposite and rocket reds attack the group as a result. They take down the rocket reds, get their money and go back to their hideout. Deadshot goes to a cemetery and visits the grave of his son. Deadshot goes home and starts going through old letters. One of them is from a woman who believes Lawton is the father of her daughter. Lawton travels to Star City and knocks on the door of woman's apartment. He sees his daughter and instantly knows he is the father. The woman lets him in the apartment, and Lawton dumps a bunch of cash on a table, telling her to take it. She refuses. He leaves her the money and leaves the apartment. Deadshot sets up shop in a run down apartment in the neighborhood. Deadshot learns who the local gangs are and begins a clean up operation, minus the nonkilling code heroes follow.
