The Metal Men were turned evil by a device called the "Kamarak". Luckily, they were changed back to normal when Doc Magnus used a device called "Particularium".

Trivia

• When "Uranium" was defeated he returned to his original form of "Gold" which was incorrect as "Iron" was the metal man who had been turned into "Uranium". "Gold" was, in fact, "Radium" not "Uranium".
