HistoryEdit

Deimos, whom the Romans call Formido, is the god of Terror. He is a member of the Olympians, a extra-dimensional race once worshipped as a deity by the people of Ancient Greece and the Roman Empire. Deimos along with his twin brother Phobos are the personification of the sheer terror that is on brought by war. He is the son of Ares the god of war and and Aphrodite the Goddess of Love.

Due to their ruthless nature Deimos and his brother lived in the Underworld, from where they help their father in plans of conquest and war on the mortals. Like their father they despise the Amazons, as well as the other Olympian Gods.

At first Phobos attempted to slay the Wonder Woman, who had been chosen by combat and the Gods to oppose Ares' plan, by bringing to life the creature called Decay, but Wonder Woman destroyed Decay after a savage battle across the city of Boston. Wonder Woman accompanied by four humans who she had befriended, brought the battle against Ares to the Underworld. Here she confronted twin gods and a struggle to the death began. During the battle Deimos attempted to poison Wonder Woman with the venomous bite of his serpentine hair, venom that would fill Wonder Woman with terror. But before she could succumb to the venom, Wonder Woman hurled her Tiara at the Deimos, decapitating him. Phobos, fearing for his own life fled swearing vengeance on the Wonder Woman.

The twin gods teamed up with their sister Eris, with a plan to regain support from their father. The gods took over Gotham City's most insane individuals Poison Ivy, Scarecrow and the Joker. Deimos was unable to keep control over his own sanity while trapped in the Joker's body. Wonder Woman and Batman battled the possessed villains. When Ares finally appeared, disgusted with his children, and sends them back to the Underworld.
