Demon Knights #21 is an issue of the series Demon Knights (Volume 1) with a cover date of August, 2013.

Synopsis for "One Way"

The Demon Knights continue to try to unlock the secrets of the stone door they have just found. Seeing that it is covered in runes created by Merlin, Xanadu convinces Etrigan to swap places with Jason Blood as Jason was Merlin's scribe and will know what the symbols mean. Jason determines that the doors is a one way portal to wherever the Grail may be, but that whoever goes through must find another route back. The group debates over who will go, and eventually decide that Vandal Savage and Jason Blood will go through the portal.

On the other side Savage and Blood find a room full of treasures that seem to have been discarded despite their obvious worth. Jason finds the box Merlin created to hold the Grail when suddenly two giants appear, dumping more treasures to the floor. Jason double crosses Savage by drawing the giants' attention and then transforms into Etrigan. In Hell, Jason tells Lucifer to send him to where Xanadu and the others are, threatening him with the Holy Grail in his possession.

During Savage and Etrigan's battle with the giants, Etrigan suddenly disappears. He finds himself in Hell with Jason and Lucifer. Lucifer grants Jason safe passage back to Xanadu while Etrigan remains in Hell, promising Jason a reckoning.
