Synopsis for "The City Stilled by Death"

From a tower in Alba Sarum, Princess Alba, Lord Gadfrey, and Princess Sarum observe the Demon Knights as they approach and Princess Alba determines that they are not trustworthy. Meanwhile the group realizes the city seems to be mourning. Vandal Savage and Al Jabr get into a fight in the street that lead to Princess Alba leading a group of city guards to round up the Demon Knights.

In the royal palace the Princesses reveal that Merlin was living in their city and has just been murdered. Etrigan becomes enraged that he was that close to finding the man that cursed him to be bonded to Jason Blood, but Madame Xanadu calms him down. The Princesses offer a handsome reward for the group if they will agree to return Merlin's spirit to his body by traveling to Avalon, an island of the afterlife. The group agree and set off by ship to the ruins of Camelot.

At sea the Demon Knights' ship is attacked by a massive sea serpent. In Hell, Etrigan meets with Lucifer and offers to deliver him Avalon, Merlin, and the souls of all of his companions.
