Quote1 I try to resist. I really do. But he slides his fingers through my thoughts, and blocks and tweaks and rearranges, until what I see is what he wants. No path makes sense to me except the one he offers. There is no hope and no salvation. There is only Etrigan. I had no idea I was capable of this. But people change. Quote2

Synopsis for "Zero Hour"

Merlin's elixir takes effect and the horrific truth about Jason Blood's past comes flooding back. From 560 A.D. to World War I, Blood learns that for the majority of history, his relationship with Etrigan has been mutually beneficial.

Notes

  • In October of 1994, all of the existing mainstream DC Comics titles released a special "0" issue to coincide with the Zero Hour crossover event. The purpose of the "0" issue was to reveal a previously unknown aspect of the title character's background. DC Titles under the Vertigo imprint were largely unaffected by Zero Hour and thus, no "0" issue specials were published for them.
  • Zero Hour provides Jason Blood and Ertigan with a new backstory. Any previous origins should be considered 'false memories' manipulated by the demon.

Trivia

  • No trivia.
