Synopsis for Slam Bradley: "In the Stratosphere"

Slam and Shorty see a rocket ship land in a nearby field. When they investigate they are shot at by the girl piloting the ship. The girl takes off again, just as a car is pulling up. In the car is Professor Barton, who claims that the girl has stolen his rocket ship invention. Slam and Shorty return with Barton to his lab. The professor captures them, believing they are working with the girl.

While the professor questions them, Knife Morley and his men break into the lab, accompanied by the girl. The professor releases Slam to fight the crooks, while he escapes with the ship. After the fight the girl explains that her father Professor James is the real inventor. Barton has now stolen the invention. Shorty has stowed away on the ship and is able to overcome Barton. The ship is then returned to its rightful owner, Professor James.
