Synopsis for Batman: "The Outlaw Batman"
Batman is seriously injured while trying to capture some crooks and a doctor who witnesses the scene, offers to mend Batman's wounds before giving Batman some medication for his injuries. After that night, Bruce can't sleep without having terrible nightmares in which he commits steals items that he and Robin recently recovered in waking life. Each following morning it is revealed by radio broadcast that the thefts of Bruce's dreams did occur, and Bruce and Dick are left wondering if Bruce is having premonitions of the thefts, or if Bruce is now living as a sort of Jekyll and Hyde. With Robin's help, Bruce is stopped on the third night from stealing from a safe that they recently prevented a safecracker from breaking. To find answers, they go to the doctor that mended Batman after his recent serious blow to the head. In the doctor's office, Batman deduces that the doctor is in fact a criminal in disguise, who confesses his scheme to turn Batman into a criminal with a special drug.
