Synopsis for Batman: "Case of the Costume-Clad Killers"

A rampage of crime takes place in Gotham City and those responsible are several men wearing different uniforms including police, firefighters, soldiers, and other public authorities' uniforms. After returning from a short vacation, Bruce Wayne and Dick Grayson realize how bad the situation is. Then they notice the recently installed Bat-Signal shining in the sky.

Batman and Robin get into their crime fighting gear and soon they reach the GCPD Headquarters, where the Commissioner is waiting, to inform them that the mastermind behind the crimes is the Joker. Gordon gives Batman Joker's latest clue, and they deduce that Joker is going to strike at the Post Office. Batman and Robin hurry to the place, where indeed, Joker and his gang, disguised as mailmen, are stealing everything. The struggle is quick, and when they find themselves losing, Joker and his gang leave the place. Batman and Robin follow them in the Batmobile until Joker's thugs cause a diversion that forces Batman to stop the chase.

The costume-clad killers keep on their crime spree and Batman has an idea to get their attention. Placing an advertisement on the newspapers, Batman lures Joker and his gang into a trap on the ocean. However, during the fight, Robin is knocked out of the boat and Batman assumes that his partner is dead. Without the will to fight, Batman allows himself to be captured and Joker leaves him hanging over the water, tied up, dangling from a rope which is on fire. Unknown to everyone, Robin survived his dunking, and he follows Joker and his gang to their hideout.

Before falling to the water, Batman recovers his will to fight and once on the water, he breaks free, jumps out of the water and runs towards the obvious place for Joker's hideout: a costume shop. When Batman enters the place, he starts taking down all of Joker's henchmen and he is soon joined by Robin, and together they take care of the criminals including the Joker, who is yet again sent to prison.
