HistoryEdit

Dinah Drake was once an F.B.I. agent who went undercover to stop a ring of Russian spies. Instead, she and undercover G.C.P.D. agent Larry Lance busted each other, and the spies got away. The two married, and Dinah left the F.B.I. and started a flower shop.

Larry was murdered while investigating a new drug called Nicotics. To find his killer, Dinah disguised herself with a blonde wig and went undercover as a jazz singer, calling herself the Black Canary.
