Doc Dread was a costumed criminal who led a small-time criminal outfit. The super-hero Metamorpho assumed the guise of Dyna-Man and infiltrated Doc Dread's crew. Unfortunately, Metamorpho's rival, Java, betrayed him and revealed Metamorpho's true identity to Doc Dread.
Doc Dread currently lives in Las Vegas. His current activities are unknown, but they pay him well and are not noticably evil, based on his reaction to getting attacked by Super Young Team and the forces he was able to bring against them.
