Synopsis for "Sunlight Rising!: The Long Night's Dawn!"

United Nations troops arrive at Doc Savage's Fortress of Solitude and demand that he surrender himself. When Savage does not respond, the U.N. troops assault the complex. Doc and his compatriots escape in a submarine. Doc heads for Sweden. Meanwhile, John Sunlight still holds the world captive with Doc Savage's energy screen. The U.N. votes to send a delegation to discuss negotiations with John Sunlight.

Savage visits Holstrom in Sweden and informs him that his son, Anders, is dead and that John Sunlight is indirectly responsible. He offers Holstrom a way to get back at Sunlight for his son's death. Holstrom "catches" Doc Savage and turns him over to his company's security officers.

The U.N. informs Sunlight that they have captured Doc Savage and make arrangements to surrender him into Sunlight's custody. Savage is brought before Sunlight and Sunlight discovers that it is actually Beau Faulkner in disguise. Savage sabotages the space station's lighting system and introduces a computer virus into the ship's computer. Once this is done, the army launches missiles at the space station.

Savage tries to rescue his wife's body, but is blown into space along with it. He manages to reach the spacecraft in time to save himself but loses Monja's body. Shortly afterward the army's missile's destroy the space station and Sunlight along with it.
