Synopsis for "The Night of Brahma, Part Two: Twilight"

The Lords of Order convince Andrew Bennett to assist them on their quest to bring forth the destruction of the universe. Bennett agrees to this only because the end of everything would also mean the end of his tortured existence.

Nabu learns of this unlikely development and gathers together Linda and Eric Strauss and takes them to a walk in the park. Eric and Linda managed to revert the transformation of Jack Small and the confused lawyer goes along with them as well as Petey the Demon.

As they walk through the park, Eric and Linda have a bonding moment, but Eric's mind is not ready to deal with mature relationships. Their walk in the park is suddenly interrupted by Typhon, the Lord of Chaos that attacked Eric in his first mission as Doctor Fate. Eric and Linda merge and become Doctor Fate to confront the powerful Lord, but Nabu stops the fight before anyone could get hurt.

Nabu then explains that Typhon is seeking an alliance with them, as the Lords of Chaos have become aware of the Lords of Orders' plans to exterminate existence and they need allies to prevent that from happening. Eric and Linda refuse, as they know that the Lords of Chaos are only interested in keeping reality in order to control it, but Nabu convinces them to join forces with Typhon, at least until the Lords of Order are defeated. They all reach and agreement and a temporal truce begins, but in order to remain on Earth, Typhon needs a human host and he decides to possess Jack Small.
