Dol-Nd was a famous figure from Krypton's past.
History
2000 years in Krypton's past, Dol-Nd designed mechanical wings which are powered by the element Trolium, which Dol-Nd has named after the mythological Kryptonian Lord of the Sky: Trolius.
He quickly discovers that Trolium leaves a deadly contrail of radiation when used, and resolves to never use it to fly again.

- This version of Dol-Nd, including all history and corresponding appearances, was erased from existence following the collapse of the original Multiverse in the 1985–86 Crisis on Infinite Earths event and later restored following the rebirth of the infinite Multiverse during the Dark Crisis of 2022-2023. Even though other versions of the character may have appeared, this information does not apply to those versions.
Trivia
Powered flight would be much more difficult on Krypton, since on Silver Age Krypton the gravity was much greater than Earth.
