Appearing in "The Nightmare Fighters"
- Osra (Single appearance)
Synopsis for "The Nightmare Fighters"
The television program "Open Mind" has some peculiar guests on the program: Dr. John Radick a author of the best seller "Illusion and Reality", as well as Rama Kara an eastern mystic and of course, the Doom Patrol. Rama Kara is trying to prove that the spirit of Osra is real by showing a photograph of Osra absorbing an ancient Indian temple. These claims are not only panned by Radick, but the Doom Patrol as well. However, the following night the apparent spirit of Osra attacks and destroys a warehouse, the Doom Patrol's attempt to stop him fail and the spirit seemingly dematerializes.
Later, when the police and the Doom Patrol questions Rama Kara, the Chief is convinced that he had nothing to do with the attack. Later, when Osra appears again -- this time riding a chariot -- the Doom Patrol once more tries to stop them and fails. Back at headquarters Negative Man is convinced that they are truly fighting a ghost which leads to a heated argument between him and Robotman. The Chief interrupts and suggests that perhaps it's a form of hypnosis used by their old foe Dr. Janus, and that whoever is using it has found a way to use it on Robotman, who previously proved to be immune to the illusions due to his robot body.
When the spirit of Osra attacks a factory the Doom Patrol is there to counter attack. After the spirit disappears, the Doom Patrol find both Rama Kara and Radick on the property. When Negative Man removes his bandages to x-ray both men to see who may have a transmitter creating the illusions, he clears Rama Kara however when he tries to x-ray Radick, Radick flees with the Doom Patrol following behind. Radick uses a combination of his illusions and devices in the factory to try and stop the Doom Patrol. When he straps Robotman in a device that flattens his body, this proves to be his undoing, as after Cliff is freed from the device he uses his flattened out legs to trip up Radick, allowing him to be captured.
Later, after Robotman's body has been repaired, the Chief informs them that Radick was the son of their old foe Dr. Janus and that he managed to get through Robotman's previous immunity to his fathers device by attuning it to effect the built in transmitter in Robotman's body.

- Claw (Single appearance)
Synopsis for The Chief "Stands" Alone
The Chief sends the Doom Patrol to relieve the pressure within a unstable volcano to prevent it from exploding. Initially the plan was to simply have Larry send out Negative Man to solve the problem, however interference caused by their bathysphere's radio transmitter prevents this. This prompts Robotman to go outside and punch holes in the side of the volcano giving it the means to let loose it's steam build up.
While the Doom Patrol are gone, the Chief decides to take this time to test out his new "Action Chair" a specially modified wheelchair that has various weapons and devices that would aid him in battle with the Doom Patrol. At that moment news gets out about a new costumed criminal called the Claw who uses mechanical birds of prey to rob on his behalf. Going out to stop this menace the Chief is able to prevent the mechanical birds from robbing an armored car. When the Claw issues a challenge to the Chief to meet him in combat, the Chief agrees to go and meet him at the intended meeting place.
Meanwhile, the Doom Patrol return to base and find that the Chief is nowhere to be found, tracking their leader down to the stadium where he is battling the Claw, the Doom Patrol witness as the Chief single handedly defeats his foe with the aid of his Action Chair.
