Synopsis for "Labyrinths"
Blue Beetle, Booster Gold and Animal Man are in Paris looking at the painting, which has eaten all of Paris, leaving it a dry desert, when The Doom Patrol shows up. Animal Man tells the Doom Patrol that some of his teammates are trapped in the painting. Rebis tells Cliff Steele the painting is activated by contradictary images or ideas. The Doom Patrol members begin meditation on contradiction and are pulled into the painting.
Now inside the painting, the Doom Patrol begins searching for the Brotherhood of Dada. They find another painting and are attacked by Frenzy, who flings all three of them into the painting. Cliff Steele finds himself confronted by Mr. Nobody. Rebis finds itself confronted by The Quiz. Cliff is blasted away by Mr. Nobody and he ends up fighting Sleepwalker instead. Crazy Jane is standing in front of another painting when she is attacked by The Fog. It seems Rebis is beginning to gain some ground in its fight, when The Quiz traps the Negative Spirit in a jar.
The Brotherhood have Cliff Steele captured along with Rebis. They rip out Cliff's power source, leaving him to die.
